FLSM App Reviews

Expected a bit more/better

I bought the app as I have it on my PC but Im a little badly surprised : no synth (only samples) and the only way to modulate parameters thru automation is to record (no post manipulations). And effects are not terrific (no cutoff on delay, no chorus, no phaser, etc). On the good side: the step sequencer is very fun to use on the iPhone and mostly due to the fact that notes are customizable for melodic instruments. And export to MIDI and FL is a unparalleled good thing. Xenon groove synth is much affordable and as powerful and even more. But ImageLine may propose updates soon as on PC (free and sometimes dramatic improvements). I hope.

inspiring and very complete

Despite a few moans about the lack of virtual synths and import options, I took the plunge and forked out the wad of cash to purchase this beauty Quite frankly, I am really glad I did. Great interface, sounds, ease of use and responsive behaviour on a mobile device. Top marks. I own a number of musical creation apps, and this one tops them all in terms of instant gratification.

Great!

Now with the new synthetizer, I have all I need!

Good but..

The app Is practically flawless, however I dont know if anybody has experienced this problem but it has slowed my iPhone 4 down exponentially. Thus I uninstalled and my phone is fine. I personally rather a faster phone then a cool app.

Addicting

Havent stopped since I got it and Ive only just scratched the surface, totally worth the money!

Excellent!

Great!! I recommend it to all musicians, I have no skill whatsoever, just motivation, and I still could make excellent music with it! If you like to make fully orchestrated music with tons of classical music, its ok, but if you like to make really cool electronic music with synths, its even better due to the effects and trillions of synths. Download!

Epic

Its great and it really helps teach u fl in general awesome app it just really needs some better synths or like some hiphop ones atleast seriously image line

Wee

There should be an option to export projects as ringtones

Great app that limits 3rd party compatability

Import samples would be a nice addition but thats not the reason for my review. I cant export to wav and then play back the file except in fl studio. Whats the point of a wav I cant use? I shouldnt have to connect to a computer to edit my wav. Let me export to the ipod app so I can atleast find the wav from other 3rd party DAWs or apps like the moog filtatron. Audio copy/paste would be nice too but a simple "export to itunes" function would be fine.

Cool

Is there some sort of tutorial? Because it is a bit overwhelming and confusing for a newbie like me :P

Would be amazing, but....

Love the app, has some great instruments and effects to use. And not that hard to use. I really do enjoy using it and its well worth the money. BUT. It would be great if you could actually play your music. It gets choppy and laggy when more than 3 tracks (instruments) are playing at the same time. An I have an iPhone 4. RAM isnt a problem.....

Above and Beyond

Ive used FL studio for years and this was a little confusing at first. Although it took a while to get fluent (same with the PC version) once you get it, ITS AMAZING! Get this app! You wont regret it!

Wow!

Cool app but it is a great idea to add a share system to see all the tune created by This app!

Strange at first but good

First, you can package and import your own samples now. At the first few uses it can be slightly confusing to understand this app but in the end its worth learning. I use it for all my ideas when Im on the go. Must have for FL Studio users.

Hell yeah

Awesome app fun and easy to use I could not recommend this app any higher. But... Could some more instruments like like a pro 53 for a bit of hardstyle more customization like a 3osc and you should be able to change wave forms and different filter effects

Yeah

The sounds deceived me. Should add more sounds(organs , pianos, guitars etc,)You should add a pitch bend, sustain and chord memory like music studio

Awesome app

Needs to be updated

Fantastic

So glad they made a mobile version of fl studio. Not quite as easy to use as the desktop version but easily the best app of its type in the app store. The only thing I think they could do to make it better is add would be something like a touchpad section where where you can add affects such as flanger, stutter and delay.

You get what you pay for

Needs some work. Have to press things over and over to make it work. Shuts down unexpectedly. But not bad for the price.

GREAT

best app of its kind, but it really needs more instruments and an update, keeps crashing
